Urcho leads Bearcats to non-section win over Trojans

Bentworth’s Landon Urcho poured in 34 points and was the leading catalyst in the Bearcats’ 79-52 victory over hosting California Wednesday night in non-section boys basketball action. After just scoring two points in the opening eight minutes, Urcho collected 10 in the second quarter and then 22 in the second half. The senior guard was 6-for-9 at the charity stripe and did most of his damage on the night with drives to the rim.
