Taxes remain steady as Elizabeth OKs budget

Elizabeth Borough Council on Tuesday unanimously approved a balanced budget for 2023. Residents will not see any increase in taxes next year. The salary of Borough Manager Scott Craighead, who was hired June 16, is the biggest expense going into 2023 that wasn’t on the books when last year’s budget was ironed out.
