Daily, weekend Mass to be cut at 2 area churches

Come mid-January, there will be no more daily or weekend Mass at Corpus Christi Church in McKeesport or Saint Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport.
That was made official when Mary, Mother of God Parish, with approval from the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, released the parish bulletin Wednesday morning.
It includes a new Mass schedule for the parish, which — since a merger in 2020 — is made up of St. Angela Merici in White Oak, Corpus Christi, St. Patrick in McKeesport and St. Robert.
All of the parish’s regular daily and weekend Masses will be held at St. Patrick or at St. Angela Merici starting on Jan. 14.
