Donna Jean Steck Thorpe – Monessen

Donna Jean Steck Thorpe, 77, of Monessen, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown. She was born on Dec. 26, 1944, in South Huntingdon Township, daughter of the late Fred Steck and Phyllis Denitti Fall. Donna had been a resident of Monessen most of her adult life and a member of First Christian Church. She leaves behind to cherish her memory many family members and friends. Donna’s request was to not be viewed, be buried in West Newton Cemetery, have a simple obituary, and to have a celebration of life. That celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at First Christian Church, 115 Sixth St., Monessen, with Pastor Conrad Auel officiating.
