McKeesport rally falls short against Woodland Hills

It’s early in the season for McKeesport basketball, but the squad has to figure out how to start games as well as they finish them, according to Coach Troy Blackwell. The Tigers (0-3) fell to Class 5A opponent Woodland Hills (2-0) 59-57 on Tuesday night despite trailing by 18 points at halftime. In fact, McKeesport came inches away from tying the contest at the buzzer, but a layup from Ja’Vonta Belton rolled off the rim and avoided going through the cup.
