The Penguin Project at Mon River Arts to stage ‘Shrek The Musical Jr.’
The musical will debut at 7 tonight at the Grand Theatre in Elizabeth.

The Penguin Project at Mon River Arts will debut “Shrek The Musical Jr.” tonight and they’re hoping to give the audience a magical and thrilling show at the Grand Theatre in Elizabeth.
The play is being staged by the local chapter of the Penguin Project, which aims to create a show with kids and young adults with disabilities.
Directed by Samantha Mitchell, the musical features 20 youth actors from the Penguin Project, who will joined by their mentors during the show.
The musical will debut at 7 tonight, followed by shows 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee at the Grand Theatre, 207 S. Second Ave., Elizabeth.
