By obits

Timothy Philip Charles Zetka, 74, passed away Nov. 28, 2022, at UPMC Mercy Hospital. Tim was born Sept. 18, 1948, to the late Charles and Evelyn Marie Strimel Zetka. Tim loved the outdoors, loved fishing and hunting, especially with his uncle, Tony Zielensky, who always encouraged his passion for the outdoors. He could often be found at Roscoe Sportsmen’s Association telling hunting stories with his buddies. Tim started hunting as early as age 12 and was even planning on going deer hunting the day after his passing using his disability hunting licenses. He loved hunting out west, including Montana, Idaho and especially Wyoming, where he had friends and relatives. Tim was also a very skilled handyman and carpenter and even helped build one of his relative’s houses who lived in Wyoming. Surviving to cherish Tim’s memory are his wife, Bernadette D. Zetka, with whom he just celebrated their 50th anniversary on Sept. 9, 2022; his daughter, Tamara Zetka; his son, Patrick Zachary Zetka; his brother, Chuck Zetka; his sister, Pamela (Richard) Marcavitch; his grandchildren, Tempestt, Tayla and Taliyah; and his great-grandchild Corentin. In addition to Tim’s parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Tracey Zetka; and his favorite hunting and fishing partner, Uncle Tony Zelinsky. Arrangements have been entrusted to HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Online condolences may be sent to www.hoganmelenyzer.com.
