Lee tops Doyle for House seat

With nearly all precincts reporting, Democrat Summer Lee appears to have won the race for the 12th Congressional District against Republican Mike Doyle. In Allegheny County, 97% of precincts had reported by 11:45 p.m. and 100% of precincts had reported in Westmoreland County, giving Lee, a state Representative from Swissvale, 178,386 votes to Doyle’s 141,598 — a difference of nearly 37,000 votes.
