Monongahela: New street lamps ready to shine

The Monongahela Street Department plans to install 25 new street lamps along West Main Street between Second and Fourth streets over the next month and a half. Councilwoman and Public Safety Director Sarah O’Brien said the city began planning to replace current lamps after residents and business owners raised concerns about their age and dim lighting.
