TJ scores late pair to topple P-T

After an evenly played first half, No. 3 Thomas Jefferson tilted the play in the final 40 minutes to its attacking zone. But despite that offensive momentum, the game remained scoreless. The young Jaguars didn’t get frustrated, however, and finally cashed in twice in the final 13 minutes to secure a 2-0 victory over visiting No. 14 Penn-Trafford Saturday in a WPIAL Class 3A first-round matchup on Saturday afternoon.
