California suffers homecoming loss to No. 17 Slippery Rock

Slippery Rock’s aerial attack proved to be too much for California to handle in a 42-24 loss in PSAC West action at Adamson Stadium on Saturday afternoon. While the Vulcans (4-4, 3-2) limited the opposition to a season-low 42 yards on the ground, SRU quarterback Noah Grover threw four first-half touchdowns to four different receivers, as The Rock (7-1, 4-1) showcased their big-play ability in spoiling Cal’s homecoming celebration.
