Catherine Caputo Misher – Belle Vernon

Catherine Caputo Misher, 99, of Belle Vernon, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at Dunlevy Gardens. Born Dec. 10, 1922, in Rostraver Township, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Alessio Caputo. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Misher was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Joe Misher Jr. and wife Loretta of Belle Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Misher Sr., on Jan. 23, 2010; a brother, Joe Caputo; and two sisters, Rose Teano and Virginia Swantek. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nurses from Amedisys Hospice and the staff at Dunlevy Gardens for their loving care and support given to our mother.
