Elizabeth Forward used three goals in the opening 10 minutes of its match against Ringgold to earn a 4-0 win in Section 2-3A play at Joe Montana Stadium Wednesday.
The Rams came in off a 7-0 victory against Uniontown yesterday but saw their five-game winning streak snapped.
“This is our seventh game and this is their second, so I’m sure we have a little more wear-and-tear than they do,” Ringgold coach Olivia Wilkerson said. “I think that we just had to pick up our pace, and I think that’s what we did after the beginning.”
Elizabeth Forward did its damage with Abby Beinlich, Mia Valerio and Giovanna Ferraro, who added two goals.
