Patricia Lorraine Jones Pryor was welcomed by the Lord on Aug. 28, 2022, at age 70. Patricia Pryor was born Sept. 22, 1951, to the late Verline and Dennis Jones at the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Patricia was the fourth child of seven children. She loved to sing and dance, as well as spend time with her three grandchildren. Patricia is survived by her son, Lamar (Rachel) Jones Sr. of Akron, Ohio; daughter, Cekia Jones of Monessen; sister, Gwendolyn “Toot” Price of Bronx, N.Y.; brother, Larry Jones Sr. of Monessen; her two favorite nephews, David Price IV of Bronx, N.Y. and Nathaniel Jones Sr. of Donora; uncle Oliver (Carol) Mays and aunt Bonnie Mays-Hughes, both of Monessen; a host of nieces, nephews and eight grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Verline and Dennis Jones Sr.; sister, Verda “Tootieboo” Jones; three brothers, Garriton “Porky” Jones, Sr.; Dennis “Chucky” Jones Sr. and Roderick “Rodney” Jones Sr.; and one nephew, Roderick “Booty” Jones Jr. Left to cherish her special memories is her dear friend, Lynne Fleming. She’s also survived by her special sister-in-law, Brenda Johnson and brother-in-law, Jerome Pryor Sr. Family and friends are welcome to the celebration of life from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 230 Reed Ave., Monessen. Celebration of life has been gently placed in the hands of HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, Karl Jackson, funeral director, 724-379-5420.
