Esther Eileen Holiday Stewart – New Eagle

Esther Eileen Holiday Stewart, 79, of New Eagle, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, at Premier Health Center, Washington, from complications of Alzheimer’s. She was born in Bunola on June 15, 1943, and is the daughter of the late Galen and Nellie Burns Holiday. Esther was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed volunteering at her church, caring for her many pets over the years and taking care of her family. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, John and Lisa Stewart of Finleyville, and Ryan (Kelly) Stewart of Monongahela; and her two grandsons, Ryan and Dalton Stewart of Monongahela. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, John Theodore Stewart, who passed away April 16, 2022; and two brothers, Dale and Chuck Holiday. At the family’s request, services will be private.
