Maria ‘Mia’ Mugrage (née Rialti), previously Maria Farias – Charleroi

Maria “Mia” Mugrage (nee Rialti), previously Maria Farias, of Charleroi. Maria passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, at Jefferson Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was 65 years old. One of six children of the late Louis Rialti and Barbara Withers Cosner, Maria was born in North Charleroi on June 3, 1957. She was a graduate of Charleroi High School and served in the United States Air Force. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Mia was preceded in death by her husband, Alan “Pooch” Mugrage; and her sister, Sandra McGurk. Surviving to cherish Mia’s memory are her children, Raymond Farias Jr. (Kristine), Valerie Farias (Kevin Taylor) and Juan Farias (Nikki Turner); grandchildren, Phoenix Farias, Toby Williams, Aaron Lewis, Alexis Umholtz, Ashton Sipes and Brinley Farias; siblings, Lou Rialti (Kim), Toni Boulanger (Comer Bentz), Linda Fiorino (John) and Barb Calladine (Pete); and numerous nieces and nephews, including Tristin Axton. Mia is also missed by her previous husband, Raymond Farias Sr., as well as fellow members of The Orchard Christian Fellowship in Monessen, American Legion Post 22 and Belgian Club in Charleroi and the Allenport Rod and Gun Club. A memorial service honoring Mia will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, at The Orchard Christian Fellowship Church, 721 Schoonmaker Ave., Monessen, PA 15062.
