Eugene A. “Sonny’’ Lynn, 88, of Rostraver Township, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022. Born in Rostraver Township on Feb. 6, 1934, he was the son of the late Caleb Z. and Mary Emma Sethman Lynn. Sonny was a diesel mechanic and retired from Wetterau Corporation. He was a lifelong member of Concord United Methodist Church in Rostraver Township. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed cutting grass with his zero-turn lawn mower! He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Isabelle L. Hammers Lynn; son, Kenneth (Valerie) Lynn of Monessen; daughters, Diana Lynn of Easton, Md., Dena (Robert) King of Bonaire, Ga., and Tammy (Dannie) Halinka of Monessen; grandchildren, Mick, Kristofer, Kimberly, Stephanie, Amy, Angela, Ryan, Krysta, Timothy and Melissa; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Patrick, Parker, Nico, Rocco, Gino, Alonzo, Emmalynn and Summer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James W. Lynn and Caleb Lynn Jr.; sisters, Bertha Thompson, Ethel Hagerman, Violet Foor, Virginia Weaver Verabelle Opatkiewicz, Roberta Greenawalt, Erma Echart and Shirley Snyder. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Sandra E. Fitzgibbons officiating.  Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
