It’s championship night in the Mon Valley Independent Summer Basketball League and for the first time, the boys’ and girls’ championships will be decided on the same night.
All-star and award recognition for both divisions will also be held prior to each championship game. The girls all-star teams were announced Wednesday evening, and the boys’ team will be announced this evening.
The night tips off at 6:30 p.m. with the girls division championship as No. 1 seed AMD Industries will look to make history against No. 3 Edward Jones.
At 8 p.m., the boys division will crown a new champion as unbeaten top-seed Elite Physical Therapy will face off against No. 3 Dax Thomas State Farm in the title matchup.
