Rabies baiting for raccoons underway

Mon-Yough communities are joining the Allegheny County Health Department in encouraging dog owners to make sure their pets are leashed over the next several weeks. That’s because the annual Raccoon Rabies Baiting Program effort by The Allegheny County Health Department and U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wildlife Services is underway.
