Gary W. Broyles, 67, of Rostraver Township, passed away on July 1, 2022, at the home of his daughter and caretaker, Jaclyn Broyles, with whom he made his home. He was born on Jan. 28, 1955, in Chicago to the late Carl and Doris Nutting Broyles of Charleroi. Gary grew up in Charleroi, graduating from Charleroi Area High School in 1972, but lived most of his life in Rostraver Township. Gary retired from C. Harper Chevrolet in January 2020 after a dedicated 33 years as assistant manager of the parts department. He was a huge sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to Jaclyn, Gary is survived by his daughters, Jaime Broyles (Gino Manetta) of Ruffsdale and Jodie Cochenour of Belle Vernon; four grandsons, Austin Makusenka, Xander Cochenour, Brody Shanefelter and Gage Johnson; his former wife, Susan Barcus Broyles; and a sister, Joyce Rotheram (John) of Apollo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Randy Carrick of Charleroi; and his grandmother, Edith Nutting, also of Charleroi.
