Serra grad Mark Black announces decision to transfer to Gardner-Webb

After spending one season at Wake Forest University, Mark Black is ready for his next challenge. For this one, he’ll be heading to Boiling Springs, N.C. Black, a former standout catcher at Serra Catholic, announced Wednesday that he will be transferring to Gardner-Webb University to continue his academic and baseball careers.
