Monessen searching for deputy treasurer

The City of Monessen has been in need of a deputy treasurer since the retirement of Debbie Gregor in March. The position has been advertised multiple times and while there has been some interest, those who have inquired about the job have indicated they’re not interested in the $14-an-hour salary that comes with it, said Mayor Ron Mozer.
