William “Bill” Urbanik, 75, of Kernersville, N.C., passed away Tuesday morning May 31, 2022, of kidney failure. A professional career soon followed with coaching positions with the Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders, Sacramento Gold Miners (CFL), and XFL New York/New Jersey Hitmen, as well as scouting positions with the Raiders and Arizona Cardinals. His retirement years were spent teaching and coaching in high school. Bill is survived by his wife of almost 50 years and a son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. There will be no funeral or memorial following cremation.
