There is quite a buzz circling around the California Area School District, or maybe a cluck, quack or bark depending on which part of campus you visit.  It is not out of the ordinary for administrators and educators within the district to be found, suit and all, inside of a chicken coop, or swapping their normal attire for a bee keeper’s suit mid-school day – all to give students in the district a learning experience unlike any other.
Across all grades, students are getting hands-on learning opportunities that take them outside of their classrooms and bring lessons — previously only read about in textbooks — to life.
