Crashes impact traffic on Route 51

Two adults were injured in a vehicle crash in Forward Township on Wednesday afternoon. Around 4 p.m., county 911 was notified of the crash on Hayden Boulevard at Tunnel Hollow Road. A woman and a man were both injured in the crash, but taken to the hospital in stable condition, Allegheny County police said. Detectives and collision reconstruction officers have begun an investigation into the incident. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the county tip line at 1-833-255-8477. Around 5:30 p.m., another crash was reported Route 136 at the Route 906 intersection in Forward Township. No other details were available at press time.
