Memories of Vietnam still fresh for local veterans

A group of Vietnam War veterans from the Mon Valley gathered Monday at Libby’s Dairy Bar in Monessen. On the eve of this year’s observance of Vietnam War Veterans Day, they looked at old photographs snapped in Vietnam and reflected on their time serving in the war and what it was like when they came home to a politically divided nation and an anti-war movement.
