Patricia R. Palfey, 70, of West Newton, died Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was born Dec. 29, 1951, daughter of the late Upton and Helen (Robinson) Smith. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Fabco Fastening Systems and National Marketing for Toys R Us. Patricia loved camping at Yough Dam and her Pugs. Surviving are her husband, Daniel Palfey; daughters, Ashley Gumbert and husband Nicholas, and Tricia Beckinger and husband Joseph; stepdaughter, Lauren Dokish; grandson, Cody Beckinger; and brother, James Smith and wife Laverne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Michael and Gail Palfey; and a brother-in-law, Patrick Palfey. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at J. WILLIAM MCCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME, 901 Vine St., West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
