Ralph D. Law, 64, of West Newton, died Thursday, March 3, 2022, just a day after his 64th birthday. Born in Pittsburgh on March 2, 1958, he was the son of the late David R. and Edith Irene Cummins Law. Ralph was a Seabee and a Shop Keeper and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. After his discharge from the Navy, Ralph worked with his friend, Ed Wirth, remodeling bathrooms and refinishing tubs. Ralph loved his family, and if anyone needed anything, he was always there to help! He was a diehard Penguins, Pirates and Steelers fan and loved anything Black and Gold! He is survived by his son, Kenneth (Molly) Law of Wisconsin; daughter, Andrea Sotzen of Washington; grandchildren, Weston Law, Chase Johnson, Tristan Sotzen, Brianna Sotzen and Liam Bingham-Nguyen; sisters, Barbara (Eri) Laing of West Newton, Beverly Law of North Carolina and Bonnie Johnson of Florida; as well as multiple nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Jason Law and Chessie Johnson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with Pastor Roy Dail officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
