Wanda R. ‘Nunny’ Nardi Strahosky – Donora, formerly of Belle Vernon

Wanda R. “Nunny” Nardi Strahosky, 95, of Donora, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills. Born Aug. 21, 1926, in North Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Mario and Diomira Mucci Nardi. A lifelong resident of the Mon Valley Area, Mrs. Strahosky was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the Anita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon, was an excellent cook, loved doing arts and crafts and crocheting baby afghans. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Dwain Johnson of Donora, Janet Strahosky and Norman Mast of Avalon; 10 grandchildren, Rachel (Joe) Bunta, Frank Tokach, Naomi Harris, Alexander (Jessica Emory) Mast, Kerri (Matt) Zipay, Matt Komlos, Nicole (Brad) Frazee, Dalton Smith, Tyler Verin and Koreyanne Smith; eight great-grandchildren, Dominic, Zane, Angelo, Harper, Violet, Joey, Vera and Rosalee; and several nieces and nephews, Mike and Nancy Komlos, Kathy Smith, Joann Verin, David Landsperger, Patty Strahosky, Kathy Volrath, Brad Stacy and Beckie Cybolski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Strahosky; and sister, Mary Ann Komlos. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-9296183. Prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Michael J.
