Keith Wilkerson -Donora

By obits

Keith Wilkerson, 62, of Donora went to eternal rest suddenly on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022. Born on Aug. 8, 1959, in Charle- roi, he was the son of the late Arthur Lee Sr. and Iona Wilkerson. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Lee “Buster” Wilkerson Jr. and Kevin Wilkerson; a nephew, Dwane Youngblood; a niece, Tieria Ward; and a great niece; MyLah Marie Satterfield. Keith was best known as “Kee Kee.” Keith was a lifelong resident of Donora. Following his graduation from Ringgold High School, Class of 1977, he joined the U.S. Air Force, but had to return home due to medical reasons. Upon returning home from the military, he attended Columbus Technical Institute. Kee Kee was one of the first people to be employed at the McDonald’s in Belle Vernon, where he worked his way up and became a manager. You could find Kee Kee riding his bike all over the Mon Valley and surrounding areas. He rode that bike so well he would pass you up in your car and turn his head and wave at you. He loved to cook and would feed anyone and everyone. Kee Kee had a heart of gold and was a jack of all trades. He leaves to cherish his loving memory three stepsons, Tyrell (Tanya) Satterfield of Donora, James Satterfield of Pittsburgh and Jovan (Ericka) Gallmore of Wichita Falls, Texas; three stepdaughters; Betty “Lady”(Sean) White of Georgia, Jasmen Gallmore of Donora and JoVette (Tony) Knapp of Wichita Falls, Texas; five brothers, Clarence (Les) Wilkerson of Fredericktown, Pa., Dennis (Noel) Wilkerson of Columbus, Ohio, Bernard (Joan) Wilkerson of Carroll Township, Walter Wilkerson of Monongahela and Charles Wilkerson of Monongahela; one stepbrother; Jerry Gallmore; three sisters, Gloria Tarpley, Bernice Wilkerson and Joyce Ann Goode all of Donora; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one aunt, Barbara Finley-Webb of Pittsburgh; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. We will miss his kind heart and loving smile. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, at St. Paul Baptist Church, 53 South McKean Ave., Donora. The viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a funeral service at noon. Eulogy will be given by Pastor Lee A. Haney Sr. of St. Paul Baptist Church of Donora. The service will be followed by interment in Fells Cemetery, Rostraver. Final celebrations are entrusted to MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, PA. 15063, 724-258-6767. Condolences can be made on the website, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com. Masks are required.
