Elizabeth Veronica ‘Roni’ Shuma Faust – Rostraver Township

Elizabeth Veronica “Roni’’ Shuma Faust, 76, of Rostraver Township, died peace-fully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022. Born in North Charleroi on June 28, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Elizabeth Havrilla Shuma. Roni was a retired beautician and was the studio manager for the Rostraver Dance & Gymnastics Academy for 20 years. She was a member of Epiphany of our Lord Parish in Monessen and the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Monessen. She was a former member of the Rostraver Woman’s Club and was an active “swim grandma” for her grandson, Sal. She is survived by her daughter, Alexis J. (Salvatore) Punturiero of Rostraver; grandson, Salvatore Alexander Punturiero of Rostraver; brother, George (Linda) Shuma of Connecticut; and nephew, George (Chris) Shuma of West Mifflin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Grant Faust, in 2018. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a blessing service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Epiphany of Our Lord Parish with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston presiding. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Byzantine Cemetery.
