Marie E. Merlo Melnik – Charleroi
Marie E. Merlo Melnik, 74, of Charleroi, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022. She was born Saturday, Dec. 27, 1947, in Charleroi, the daughter of the late John and Marie Guida Merlo. Marie was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Robert Melnik; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Marie and Ron Miller of Charleroi; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Makayla Miller. Friends will be received at MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, for a memorial visitation. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. with Father James Bump officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of her family.
