Tony DiFranks, 93, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully on Jan.13, 2022, at Cambridge Creekside Personal Care Home, Char- leroi. Born in Brownsville on Sept. 4, 1928, Tony is son of the late Carmine and Rose D’Antonio DiFranks. Following high school, Mr. DiFranks served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Catholic by faith, Tony worked as an agent for Baltimore Life Insurance until his retirement. Tony enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing in his pool leagues and was an avid gardener. Aside from his hobbies, Tony’s true joy came from enjoying time with his close friends and family whom he loved. Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jeanne (Dennis) Laskey of Fallowfield Township; two sons, David (Suzanne) DiFranks of Berlin, Md., and Donald W. (Ivy) DiFranks of Roscoe; his twin brother, James DiFranks of Detroit, Mich.; five grandchildren; Deni (Tom) Few, Marissa Laskey, Tony (Saile) DiFranks, Dessie (Ryan) Williams and Deiter (Michelle) Laskey; and six great-grandchildren, Brenna (Evan) Pennington, Jesse and Jude Laskey, Priya and Jaeda Few and Joshua DiFranks. In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Conaway DiFranks; and his brothers, Pete, Domonic and Steve DiFranks. On behalf of the family, a special thank you to the staff at Cambridge Creekside Personal Care Home in Charleroi and Suncrest Hospice for their kindness, compassion and professionalism. Per Mr. Difranks’ wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Arrangements have been entrusted to HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC. (formerly Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home), 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022, Kirk Russell Melenyzer, funeral director. Interment will occur at Lafayette Memorial Park.
