Dolores C. Tegnelia, 91, of Rostraver Township, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, in Jefferson Hospital. She was born on Sept. 5, 1930, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary Anselene Bitonti. Dolores grew up in Monessen and was a 1948 graduate of Monessen High School. She retired from the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, having worked as a secretary. Dolores was a member of the Church of St. Anne and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, Monongahela Valley Hospital’s Mon Vale Auxiliary and was a volunteer at Jefferson Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ralph J. Tegnelia; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark Anthony and Stella Centanni of Alexandria, Va.; two grandchildren, Alyssa and Adam Centanni; a sister-in-law, Viola Bitonti of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Centanni; infant sister, Mary Theresa Bitonti; and her two brothers, Sam and Anthony (Joan) Bitonti. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com. Services will be held Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, beginning with 9:30 a.m. prayers of transfer in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Church of St. Anne with the Rev. David J. Nazimek as celebrant. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Hospital (stjude.org) 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
