Russell D. Theakston – Charleroi

Russell D. Theakston, 58, of Charleroi, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at The Grove at Washington. He was born in North Charleroi, on Nov. 6, 1963, son of the late Sheridan Theakston and Patricia Malec Zelinsky of Van Voorhis. Russell worked as a roofer and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Besides his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Joseph Zelinsky of Van Voorhis; two brothers, Robert and Rodney Theakston, both of Charleroi; and a sister, Renee Sommovilla of Carroll Township. There will be no public visitation. Interment will take place at the National Cemeteries of the Alleghenies. Arrangements have been entrusted to the LEONARD M. PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES INC., 235 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Online condolences may be expressed at www.pavlicfuneralhome.com.
