As Charleroi officials bid goodbye, so does solicitor

As Charleroi’s outgoing council members and mayor shared sentimental goodbyes during their last meeting as elected officials, they were not the only ones to make parting remarks. As President Mark Alterici, Councilwoman Jody Cheplic and Major Ed Bryner each took time during Wednesday’s business meeting to share their gratitude and hopes for the future, borough Solicitor Steve Toprani announced he did not wish to be retained as the borough’s legal counsel next year.
