Ruth A. Iaquinta – Donora

Ruth A. Iaquinta, 71, of Donora, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in North Charle- roi, daughter of the late Thomas Eugene Iaquinta and Julia Frances Sarkus Iaquinta. Ruth was a lifelong resident of Donora, a 1968 graduate of Mon Valley Catholic High School and received her associates degree from Duff’s Business School. She was retired from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she worked as a human resource clerk. Left to cherish her memory are a sister, Mary Rose Hemmings; three dear friends, Anna Mary Clavir, Carol Ann Clavir and Jeanne Appel; seven nieces and nephews, Cindi (Dan) Lowden, John (Bridget) Hemmings, Diana L. Hemmings, George (Gina) Hemmings, Thomas Iaquinta Jr., Jamie Iaquinta and Danielle Iaquinta; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Iaquinta Jr., on Oct. 18, 2021; a nephew, John Iaquinta; and a great-nephew, Jacob Thomas Hudak. Private family services were held at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, with Father Doug Boyd officiating.
