Joshua C. Hutsenpiller – Belle Vernon

By obits

Joshua C. Hutsenpiller, 34, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at his home, bravely fighting a lifetime struggle with muscular dystrophy. Born Oct. 5, 1987, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Gregory Toia of Belle Vernon and Susan Hutsenpiller Vlasak of Belle Vernon. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, he was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Belle Vernon, and was a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School, Class of 2007, with honors. Joshua enjoyed his computers and online gaming, was an avid supporter of the human society, enjoyed going to concerts and listening to music from a local band, Korn. Joshua was never one to complain about his condition and was always concerned about everyone else. He is survived by his brother, Gregory Toia of Belle Vernon, whom he loved very much and they were like two peas in a pod; his fur babies, Jackson and Belle; and his longtime caregiver and nurse, Daniel Sinsely. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Christopher Thomas Toia; maternal grandparents, Bert and Rose Hutsenpiller; and paternal grandparents, Alexander and Maryann Toia. Visitation will be held at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. with the Very Rev. Stephan Gresh of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church officiating. Interment will take place in Olive Branch Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. From Joshua to his family, I LOVE YOU!!!! Condolences accepted at the funeral home’s website, www.parzynskifuneralhome.com.
