Donora mayor McDonough faces challenge by councilman Pavelko

In Donora, the incumbent mayor faces a challenge from a sitting councilman in next Tuesday’s election.
Mayor Jim McDonough, who is in his first term, will square off against Councilman Don Pavelko, who has served several terms on council and one term as mayor. Both men are Democrats, though Pavelko will appear on the Republican ballot because he won enough write-in votes to become the Republican nominee in the primary.
