Jamie Lee Miller, 70, of Brownstown, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, in Allegheny General Hospital. A daughter of the late Roy E. Powell and Phyllis Lewis Wilson, she was born on May 8, 1951. A loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Jamie lived all of her adult life in Fayette City and was a Washington Township supervisor for many years.  Survivors include a son, Benjamin Miller of Reidsville, N.C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Jamie Stevens of Lowber; five grandchildren, Jessie, Kyle B. and James Miller and Abagail and Lucas Stevens; a close friend, Arthur Cain of Smithton; and her beloved cat, Rufus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle W. Miller, on Sept. 8, 2016; a granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Stevens in 2003; and a sister, Diane Hale. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, the time of the funeral service with the Rev. Donald Glunt officiating.
