Hamstra wins No. 100, Bearcats near playoffs

With three section games remaining on his team’s slate, Bentworth head coach Tyler Hamstra knows the pressure is on. The Bearcats entered Wednesday tied with Charleroi for the final playoff spot out of Section 2-A, making every game from here on out a “must win.” Focused on the task at hand, Bentworth kept its playoff hopes alive Wednesday night with a thrilling 1-0 victory over visiting Monessen at Ellsworth Athletic Field.
