Clairton holds off Bishop Canevin

After two losses to start the season in nonconference play for defending Class 1A runner up Clairton, the Bears bounced back with two straight wins to start play in the Eastern Conference before returning home to battle Bishop Canevin, who came into Friday’s first-place battle off to their best start in a decade at 5-0.
