California Area adjusts homecoming festivities

The homecoming football game and crowning of this year’s king and queen in the California Area School District will be delayed by a week, but the homecoming dance is going on as scheduled. “The kids decided this is what they want to do. The students were in on the decision-making process,” said California Area High School Principal Ray Huffman. Tomorrow night’s football game against Avella had to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, Huffman said.
