On Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, the Lord sent His angels to usher Stacey T. Lambert, home. Stacey was born Feb. 21, 1976, in Philadelphia. He was baptized at a young age and was a member of the Christian Church in Philadelphia. Stacey was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Barns; his father, Gene Lambert; his paternal grandmother, Thelma Stuckey; his maternal grandfather, Ralph Baker; his uncle, Mohammed Bey; and his father-in-law, Deacon Leslie Barrett. Stacey is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Shemaiah Lambert; two sons, Lonnie (Megan) Brown of Trexlertown, Pa., and Tayan Lambert of Elizabeth; his mother, Minister Karen Lambert; grandmother, Katherine “Mom-mom” Baker, both of Philadelphia; and Minister Catharine “Mom” Barrett of Elizabeth. He is also survived by two brothers, Eric (Jennifer) Baker of Yonkers, N.Y., and Tyrone (Torica) Lambert of Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Joy Henderson of Philadelphia; a childhood friend, Steve (Nichele) Jackson of Philadelphia; and his brother-in-law, Leslie (Tiffany) Barrett II of York, Pa. Stacey considered both of them his brothers. He is also survived by a father figure, Ken (Joan) Jericho of Fredericktown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Stacey loved the Lord, his family, the nightly Bible study call and making people laugh. He was not ashamed of the gospel. He would witness every chance he got, even while he was in the hospital. His favorite song was “Take Me To The King” by Tamela Mann. Stacey would listen to his gospel favorites while mowing the lawn. He loved playing video games with his wife and sons. Stacey will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. We will miss his contagious smile and his love of talking. Visitation with take place from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 230 Reed Ave., Monessen, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. Sept. 29, 2021, with Pastor Bishop Karl Jackson officiating. Family mandatory request: due to COVID-19, wear a mask. There will be no repast. Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, 724-379-5420, Karl Jackson, funeral director.
