Blood drive set for Friday in memory of Monongahela mother

In honor of the 10th anniversary of their mother’s passing, a local family is working with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive in Monongahela on Friday. “My family decided to hold this blood drive to honor the 10th anniversary of the passing of our mom, Barbara Yuhasz, from Acute Myeloid Leukemia,” said Melanie Berklovich, Barbara’s daughter. The blood drive will take place from 1:30 to 7:30pm at the Monongahela Fire Department (451 W. Main St., Monongahela).
