Alyce J. Webster Larson, 86, of New Eagle, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, in the Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela. She was born Feb. 14, 1935, in New Eagle, the daughter of Herbert and Glenna Wright Webster. Alyce was employed at Liggett Spring and Axle in East Monongahela until its closing. She then worked at Guttman Oil Co. in Charleroi as a secretary until her retirement. Alyce was Baptist by faith and a member of the Democratic Women’s Club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing in card clubs with her friends. She was a devoted grandmother who loved taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Debra Antonelli and Susan Sullivan, both of Monongahela, and Sharon Gamble and husband Robert of New Eagle; five grandchildren, Michael Antonelli and wife Liz, Sarah and Zachary Sullivan and Kayla and Kristen Gamble; brother, William Webster and wife Jean of Perrysburg, Ohio; and sister, Barbara Querry of Portland, Maine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Larson, on Oct. 27, 2016; and her son, Foster “Skip” Gayhart; son-in-law, Nick Antonelli; and brother, Robert Webster. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2021 at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021, with Deacon Alexander Poroda officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Pittsburgh, 2835 E. Carson St., 2nd floor, Ste. 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
