Robert K. ‘Bob’ Lusk – Charleroi

Robert K. “Bob” Lusk , 81, of Charleroi went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, Aug. 2, 2021. He was born April 16, 1940, the son of Dorothy Morrison Byers and Kenneth “Dutch” Lusk. He was raised on the family dairy farm in Eighty Four. Bob graduated from Trinity High School in 1958 and received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Penn State University in 1964. He was commissioned a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves and served in Vietnam in 1966. Bob married his childhood sweetheart, Connie M. Robison, March 20, 1965. They shared 56 wonderful years of marriage and raised their three children on their small dairy farm. Bob also worked as the director of the then ASCS office in Washington, Pa. Bob loved God first and was truly a man after God’s own heart. Next, he loved his immediate and large extended family. His children and his grandchildren were very special to him and he loved attending his grandkids’ many events. Bob enjoyed helping his son Michael, on his Jersey dairy farm and he loved gardening. He was so looking forward to that first ripe tomato of the summer. Bob and Connie also enjoyed going to antique auctions and re-selling their many treasures. Bob had many special friends and family with whom he shared his love and wisdom. He had a way of making everyone feel special. Surviving are his wife, Connie; and his three children, Lisa (Donald) Hutchin, Michael Lusk and Michelle (Jay) Wollenburg; his 10 grandchildren, Judah, Jackson, Jaela, Kylie, Justice, Caleb, Colton, Levi, Grace and Chloe Rose; he is also survived by his sister, Glenda (the late Russel) Miller; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy (the late Ronald) Lusk and Lorraine (the late Donald) Lusk. Deceased are his parents and his brothers. Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021 and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at the THOMPSON-MARODI FUNERAL HOME INC., 809 Main St., Bentleyville, 724-239-2255. Additional visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 420 California Drive, Coal Center with Pastor Ken Custer and Pastor Bill Lusk, officiating.
