Ruth M. Sollosi, 92, of New Eagle, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown. She was born Aug.1, 1928, in Yukon, the daughter of Thomas and Bessie Overly Clark. In her younger years, Ruth enjoyed roller skating. She loved tending to her flowers, baking, cooking, crocheting afghans and making ceramics. She was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church in New Eagle. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Sollosi Jr., with whom she celebrated 75 years of marriage on Dec. 21, 2020; two daughters and two sons, Marilyn J. Ricci and husband Marcello of Carroll Township, Thomas R. Sollosi and wife Linda of Glennville, Ga., Ronald J. Sollosi of New Eagle, Shari L. Necciai and husband Kevin of Rostraver Township; 10 grandchildren, Scott Bergman, Amy Reed and husband Dan, Tom Sollosi and wife Brandi, Tim Sollosi, Jim Sollosi and wife Jenni, Gary Sollosi and wife Kristina, Ronald Sollosi, Brandon Sollosi, Kevin Necciai, Sara Necciai and husband Brandon Payne; and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard A. Sollosi and his wife, Mary Ann; daughter-in-law, Gay Sollosi; and a brother, Thomas Clark. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela,, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021, with the Rev. Thomas R. Sollosi officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. The family has requested that masks be worn in the funeral home — thank you in advance for your understanding. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
