Mary Pobok Brassart – Millsboro, Del.

Mary Pobok Brassart, 96, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, at her home in Delaware. Born March 3, 1925, in Naomi, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Kassik Pobok. A resident of Millsboro for the past four years, she previously resided in Belle Vernon and was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Belle Vernon. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Wardle of Lancaster; son and daughter-in-law, Albert L. Brassart Jr. and wife Karen I. of Millsboro, Del.; three grandchildren, four step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Brassart Sr.; two brothers, Michael Pobok and Andy Pobok; and a sister, Anna Hussar. Relatives and friends are to gather at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Belle Vernon, for visitation from 11 to noon Monday, July 19, 2021, followed by funeral services at noon with the Very Rev. Stephan Gresh as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Mary to Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church.
