Patricia A. Houseman, 86, of Maple View, Charleroi, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2021, at the Residence at Hilltop. She was born on Aug. 28, 1934, in Washington Pa., to Vincent and Helen Keister Banshak. She graduated from Charleroi High School in the Class of 1952. On April 14, 1953, she married Warren R. Houseman, who passed away on June 8, 2020, after 67 years of marriage. Pat was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed playing in bridge clubs. She was associated with the Presbyterian Church of Charleroi. During their retirement, she and Warren spent their time together selling at area flea markets. She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Ron) Johnson of Bentleyville; and a son, Warren “Butch” (Carol) Houseman of Penn Township; four grandchildren, Brian (Michelle) Johnson, M.D., Karla (John) Johnson Kalichuck, Esq., Kevin (Jessica) Houseman, D.P.M., and Erin (Andrew) Herrman; six great-grandchildren, Madeline, Henry and Olivia Johnson, Patrick and Parker Houseman and Sean Herrman. She was looking forward to the birth of great-grandchild Kalichuk in August. The family would like to thank her dedicated caregiver, Michelle, as well as the staff of both OSPTA Hospice and the Residence at Hilltop for all of their excellent care and support. At Patricia’s request all services were held privately for immediate family only and private interment occurred at the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
